We’re currently hiring for the positions listed below. We welcome applications from candidates who live within a 40-minute drive of our main office at 3376 Harvest Dr, Gordonville, PA 17529.

Belmont Solar is seeking a skilled, problem-solving individual to join our team as a Solar PV Installer.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM Start Time

Responsibilities:

  • Project preparation (loading the truck, prepping supplies)
  • Prep the roof or ground mount site
  • Run wires, install rails and solar panels, connect systems (meters, inverters, panels, and routers)
  • Meet with project inspectors
  • Run system tests and demo/explain how it works to customers
  • Unload trucks and file paperwork with the office staff
  • Learn grid-tied and off-grid solar system installs

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of electrical and/or construction experience is required, solar experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must live 45 minutes from Gordonville, PA office
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders, use hand tools, be comfortable on a roof, and navigate crawl spaces
