After much research and receiving quotes from a number of companies I selected Belmont Solar for my project and they did an outstanding job. It’s refreshing to be served by a company that prioritizes customer satisfaction in every aspect of the relationship. I always have a ton of questions when making major decisions and they were (and continue to be) so patient without exception. The men who actually did the installation were courteous and professional at all times and as best I can tell (a few weeks after installation) they did a fantastic job. Knowing that many of the questions about solar production come post installation, Ben Zook (owner) checks in regularly and is a great resource. I would be very surprised if competitors match or even approach Belmont Solar’s total commitment to customer satisfaction. I cannot more highly recommend them.

We ended up getting upgraded panels at no extra cost and our system is working flawlessly. I would highly recommend Belmont to anyone looking to go solar.

Belmont installed an off-grid system for us. We had tons of issues with our township with permitting due to the fact that we are the first in our town to be totally off-grid. The electrical inspect basically took the system apart during inspection. From the installation with Nick and Isaac dealing with the generator back-up and Ben with everything else everyone was professional and prompt. My phone calls were answered anytime of day or night. When we had an issue with our well not communicating with our invertor they promptly got the manufacture involved who was just as responsive to get the glitches worked out. I would highly recommend.

Last year we had a company install a ground mount solar system which took almost 6 months to be installed and it was heavily damaged by the first wind storm we had. Belmont Solar came in and tore down that setup and installed a new ground mount in less then 2 weeks. It just survived

Belmont Solar came in and tore down that setup and installed a new ground mount in less then 2 weeks. It just survived a 80 mph wind gust and is producing more than ever before. Their staff are very professional and do nice clean work.

He explained the rate of return and how to optimize the system design to maximize our return on investment. He helped us through the process from start to finish. The installers were courteous and cleaned up the site every day. The cleanest construction workers I have ever used. They were friendly courteous and explained the system when they finished and also what to expect as to the next steps. When we priced the system we talked to several other companies. We decided to go with Belmont because we know people who know the employees and we wanted to support a local business. Not to mention they were the lowest bid. However, we were much more focused on quality and using a local business we could rely on after installation. The closest competitor asked me who we decided to go with, I replied Belmont and the competitor’s response was as follows: “They are good people and they will take care of you.”

From the beginning Randy answered all my questions and calculated the cost honestly and reasonably, Mike for project manager taking time to answer more solar questions patiently and arrange everything that was going to be done for the install including the documents PECO requires.
Mike took care of the PECO/Twp permit process and it’s quickly done, on Nov 2nd, a very cold day, two tech workers showed up and started to install, 3-1/2 days my 12.24 KW system was up and running.
A week later the bi-directional meter was installed by PECO and it’s ready to run officially!

I highly recommend Belmont Solar, they are the right one if you are living in The Great Philadelphia local and still doing homework.

This past summer we had Belmont Solar install 27 solar panels on our roof. We were very pleased with the planning and execution of the project. When it was completed, we decided to buy an EV Chevy Bolt. We were so thrilled to be running our second car on our own solar power that we decided to add 15 more panels. This work was completed in December, and again, we were very satisfied. I would recommend Belmont Solar to anyone interested in generating their own solar power.

I thought I knew what I needed but he pointed out other alternatives that in the end made more cents. In an addition, he always answers the phone and/or gets back promptly.( a real pet live of mine) Would highly recommend !
