Belmont installed an off-grid system for us. We had tons of issues with our township with permitting due to the fact that we are the first in our town to be totally off-grid. The electrical inspect basically took the system apart during inspection. From the installation with Nick and Isaac dealing with the generator back-up and Ben with everything else everyone was professional and prompt. My phone calls were answered anytime of day or night. When we had an issue with our well not communicating with our invertor they promptly got the manufacture involved who was just as responsive to get the glitches worked out. I would highly recommend.

We recently had solar panels installed at two different locations and we were really impressed with the entire Belmont team. They came out the same day we called, answered all questions, did all the permit paperwork, and installed the panels during the hottest week of the summer. The whole process went smoothly and we are now reaping the benefits! Kudos to everyone from Belmont Solar!

With support from SolarizeMontCo, I selected two solar companies to bid and selected Belmont Solar. I got more electricity generated for a lower price and part of the physical system was made here, in Pennsylvania. The installation of 29 panels took 3days. The Belmont staff was friendly and informative. I didn’t see any upsets and the installation site was left clean. The township and PECO inspection went excellent and we went live. This is a 9.6Kw system and during October and November we were generating peaks at almost 8Kw. That’s great. We can see our electrical production, consumption and PECO purchase. We have heat pumps, so we can see the heating system consumption drop over night, then start again so we awaken in warmth after cool night sleep.

I thought I knew what I needed but he pointed out other alternatives that in the end made more cents. This past summer we had Belmont Solar install 27 solar panels on our roof. We were very pleased with the planning and execution of the project. When it was completed, we decided to buy an EV Chevy Bolt. We were so thrilled to be running our second car on our own solar power that we decided to add 15 more panels. This work was completed in December, and again, we were very satisfied. I would recommend Belmont Solar to anyone interested in generating their own solar power.
