Belmont Solar was amazing to work with! When i started my project i knew very little, but they were vey helpful from start to finish. From the salesman, to the workers to the owner, all were easy to work with and patient with my many questions. I am about 2 months post project and i am extremely happy and impressed. My panels look and work great! Would recommend this company.

Last year we had a company install a ground mount solar system which took almost 6 months to be installed and it was heavily damaged by the first wind storm we had. Belmont Solar came in and tore down that setup and installed a new ground mount in less then 2 weeks. It just survived a 80 mph wind gust and is producing more than ever before. Their staff are very professional and do nice clean work.

It would be impossible to exaggerate our experience with Belmont Solar. From start to finish, Belmont exceeded our expectations in every way. Their entire staff is courteous, prompt and professional. Our estimate was very detailed not only in terms of cost, but also in terms of production and scheduling. Belmont took care of all permitting and paperwork for our electricity provider, county, and final inspection report. Our installation a month ahead of schedule, and our energy production is well ahead of Belmont’s projections. After completion, we received followup calls from the OWNER of the company, just to make sure everything was satisfactory. Highly recommended!!

After much research and receiving quotes from a number of companies I selected Belmont Solar for my project and they did an outstanding job. It’s refreshing to be served by a company that prioritizes customer satisfaction in every aspect of the relationship. I always have a ton of questions when making major decisions and they were (and continue to be) so patient without exception. The men who actually did the installation were courteous and professional at all times and as best I can tell (a few weeks after installation) they did a fantastic job. Knowing that many of the questions about solar production come post installation, Ben Zook (owner) checks in regularly and is a great resource. I would be very surprised if competitors match or even approach Belmont Solar’s total commitment to customer satisfaction. I cannot more highly recommend them.

February 20, 2020; 5 Stars! Highly technically qualified, knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy, thoughtful, gentle, considerate, kind, competent and skilled solar system installers! Starting with the initial sales contact, all of Belmont Solar staff have your best interests in mind, and not just to make a sale. Their concern was to present me with ideas that could lower my energy costs, be financially affordable, and the best system to meet my needs, not theirs. I have had two previous quotes for solar systems, and no one, no one gave me as much helpful information to reduce energy costs and improve the comfort of my home. None of the Belmont Solar staff or the other contractors they suggested applied any sales pressure. Very much appreciated! When the system was installed, the installers were very considerate of our needs and in making a low impact, clean installation of our solar system. Kathy and I are very happy with our solar system and especially with the entire Belmont Solar staff. I am 72 years old and very interested in keeping our planet healthy so my children and grandchildren will have a comfortable, safe, healthy place to live. Belmont Solar showed me how to realize my dream and save a lot of money. And yes, even at this age it was worth it! I highly recommend Belmont Solar to anyone even thinking about a solar system. August 19, 2020: I am very happy with solar panel installation by Belmont Solar. Since February 2020 I have saved $917.19 in electricity costs! These savings exceeded the conservative predictions in Belmont’s proposal for the last two months. This is a contractor you can trust to be truthful and have your best interests at heart. We started our solar journey in March of 2020 after the COVID shut down left us with a bit more time on our hands than expected. After falling out with another solar company that proved to be disreputable, we landed on Belmont Solar. Our experience with them was excellent! They were professional, honest, and timely in every step of the process from planning to installation. They listened when I said, for instance, that I wanted to upsize our system to accommodate a future electric car and worked with us to make that option a reality. It bears mentioning again that our installation occurred during the COVID pandemic, yet Belmont’s staff worked to ensure our safety while still completing the job in the allotted time frame. As mentioned above, all solar companies are NOT alike, and fortunately for us we ultimately found a great one. Based on our experience, I absolutely recommend Belmont Solar as a superior solar installation company!

Absolutely awesome company from the top down. My salesman/consultant was very knowledgeable. He explained the rate of return and how to optimize the system design to maximize our return on investment. He helped us through the process from start to finish. The installers were courteous and cleaned up the site every day. The cleanest construction workers I have ever used. They were friendly courteous and explained the system when they finished and also what to expect as to the next steps. When we priced the system we talked to several other companies. We decided to go with Belmont because we know people who know the employees and we wanted to support a local business. Not to mention they were the lowest bid. However, we were much more focused on quality and using a local business we could rely on after installation. The closest competitor asked me who we decided to go with, I replied Belmont and the competitor’s response was as follows: “They are good people and they will take care of you.”

Great LOCAL Solar Company!
From the beginning Randy answered all my questions and calculated the cost honestly and reasonably, Mike for project manager taking time to answer more solar questions patiently and arrange everything that was going to be done for the install including the documents PECO requires.
Mike took care of the PECO/Twp permit process and it’s quickly done, on Nov 2nd, a very cold day, two tech workers showed up and started to install, 3-1/2 days my 12.24 KW system was up and running.
A week later the bi-directional meter was installed by PECO and it’s ready to run officially!

12/23/20, Installation of our solar battery backup system went flawlessly, everyone at Belmont is incredibly polite, efficient, knowledgeable, and willing to answer my many question! My Sol-Ark Inverter displays what going on…input, output, storage, grid allowing one to know what is transpiring in an ongoing basis. Having interviewed other solar companies, I feel strongly Ben has the experience and expertise to guide clients through the process of helping to decide what exactly their solar needs are. I thought I knew what I needed but he pointed out other alternatives that in the end made more cents. In an addition, he always answers the phone and/or gets back promptly.( a real pet live of mine) Would highly recommend !

This past summer we had Belmont Solar install 27 solar panels on our roof. We were very pleased with the planning and execution of the project. When it was completed, we decided to buy an EV Chevy Bolt. We were so thrilled to be running our second car on our own solar power that we decided to add 15 more panels. This work was completed in December, and again, we were very satisfied. I would recommend Belmont Solar to anyone interested in generating their own solar power.

Belmont Solar gave me a good deal for the purchase and installation of my solar panels. They kept me informed to schedule changes as my installation date got closer. When I decided to go solar on my house ,I contacted a number of installers. Belmont solar came in with the best price. They helped design a system that should supply all my electric in any given year. i will know better at the end of October – the first year. Everyone we worked with at Belmont was very professional and they did an amazing job on the installation. Even when it was in the 20’s and windy outside, they were still there working. Randy was a great consultant to work with from start to finish and helped us understand the in’s and out’s of solar.
