Finally a friend suggested Belmont Solar. My first call to Ben Zook put me totally at ease, there was no pressure but much professionalism and incredible knowledge. He quoted me not one or two options, but four. Contrary to one review here, he understood my budget and respected it without a second thought. He is a man of great integrity, you will find out for yourself. I can’t help but laugh at the negative reviews below. He “threatened” me too, why, he even showed up in my yard personally to resolve an unforeseen issue, at no charge. Such a ‘troublemaker’, LOL. He’s a very kind and honest man, period.
Long story short, Isaac and Jonathon came from Belmont for the installation, were perfect gentlemen and extremely helpful and clearly very skilled, and a year later I already have forty percent of my investment back in my bank account. It pays back that fast! I’m already saving my dollars to make my system bigger and would not dream of anyone but Ben and the Belmont team…. and I’m in New England!

We are approaching 4 years with our system designed and installed by Belmont Solar. Ben was very knowledgeable and helpful during the quote and installation phase, and everything is still working as expected. I would highly recommend you check them out before making any decisions on solar.

My search for a company with knowledge, trust, quality workmanship, dependable workers, quality products and an Amish work ethic quickly lead me to Belmont Solar. Belmont has the ability to do large and small systems as well as roof or ground installations. They service a large portion of the Amish farms in central Pennsylvania and are equally as comfortable in working with the small homeowner in other locals. From start to finish, we have been entirely satisfied with Belmont. Belmont came through in planning and executing our solar power system even earlier than expected. Our most recent electric bill was significantly lower than it has been in other months in which we had similar weather. Consequently, I would definitely recommend Belmont Solar if you are contemplating acquiring a solar power system.

Randy was very patient with me and worked with me for about four months until I decided on exactly what I wanted. The whole process with Belmont went well, and if anything did come up, Ben Zook was right on top of it. The installers were extremely friendly and informative every step of the way. Many companies would do well to take lessons from Belmont in handling customers with courtesy, timeliness, and respect. I’ve sung their praises to friends and now a neighbor is slated for an installation this spring! Hats off to Belmont Solar! Keep up the good work!

I found these people to be a joy to work with; very honest and upfront in every step of the planning, scheduling and installation process. Their objective is always do the job right the first time. If you are looking for the cheapest installer, don’t bother to contact Belmont Solar. Their pricing is justifiably commensurate with the quality of work they complete. They go the extra mile in following through with any customer concerns that may come up. Their guiding philosophy is to always do what is best for the customer.
Belmont Solar was great to work with from start to finish. They accommodated all of my requests and questions during the system design and were very clean and professional during the installation. They are a great local business and truly care about their customers and quality of work.
