When choosing a company that installs and knows solar energy systems, choose wisely. Belmont Solar is a local Pennsylvania company with a “big reach”. My search for a company with knowledge, trust, quality workmanship, dependable workers, quality products and an Amish work ethic quickly lead me to Belmont Solar. Belmont has the ability to do large and small systems as well as roof or ground installations. They service a large portion of the Amish farms in central Pennsylvania and are equally as comfortable in working with the small homeowner in other locals. Excellent to do buisiness with and all items, materials and project is fully explained. As they say in PA Dutch, Nix Besser.

From start to finish, we have been entirely satisfied with Belmont. Belmont came through in planning and executing our solar power system even earlier than expected. Ben crafted an excellent rooftop array and Belmont’s professional installers completed the job in exemplary fashion. Everyone who helped complete the project was friendly and competent. Our most recent electric bill was significantly lower than it has been in other months in which we had similar weather. Consequently, I would definitely recommend Belmont Solar if you are contemplating acquiring a solar power system.

Knowing that my friend does his ‘homework’ well, I talked with Belmont about installation. Randy was very patient with me and worked with me for about four months until I decided on exactly what I wanted. The whole process with Belmont went well, and if anything did come up, Ben Zook was right on top of it. The installers were extremely friendly and informative every step of the way. Many companies would do well to take lessons from Belmont in handling customers with courtesy, timeliness, and respect. I’ve sung their praises to friends and now a neighbor is slated for an installation this spring! Hats off to Belmont Solar! Keep up the good work!

The entire company workforce, be it the owners, sales personnel, administrators and installers, all share the same work ethic — to do the best professional job they can to the personal satisfaction of both the customer and company. I found these people to be a joy to work with; very honest and upfront in every step of the planning, scheduling and installation process. Their objective is always do the job right the first time. If you are looking for the cheapest installer, don’t bother to contact Belmont Solar. Their pricing is justifiably commensurate with the quality of work they complete. They go the extra mile in following through with any customer concerns that may come up. Their guiding philosophy is to always do what is best for the customer.
Belmont Solar was great to work with from start to finish. They accommodated all of my requests and questions during the system design and were very clean and professional during the installation. They are a great local business and truly care about their customers and quality of work.

Great Company, From the very beginning Randy answered all our questions, actually went into the attic and up on the roof, to make sure everything was good for the solar install, Ben Zook for taking time on a Saturday to meet with me to answer more questions and show me the panels, the invertor and everything that was going to be done for the install.
We did have a few hiccups on the permit process but Belmont got them figured out and July 20th Ben Beiler and Matt showed up and started the install, basically two- three days everything was up and running. It’s nice to see the bi-directional meter going the other way and me making energy instead of paying for it.
